At LAHS, the curriculum ensures that the classroom environment creates a safe space for students, where they can freely learn and explore new ideas. The aim is to move from bookish knowledge to hands-on experience therefore creating independent thinkers who are engaged in their own learning. Students get an opportunity to showcase their talents through constructive or informal free play or activities —sorry about the mess but we are learning here. Children learn as they play

Classrooms Speak Out

The seating arrangements are beyond the traditional classrooms,where students can easily collaborate with their peers and teachers. The needs of each child are carefully and sensitively catered to.Children are taught how to think but not what to think.Education is not just filling of a pail but the lighting of a fire. It develops confidence to learn new things, discreetly through concept building , exploring senses and first hand experiences.

Freeplay Room

A freeplay room where play is known as freeplay that is unstructured , voluntary , child initiated activity that allows children to develop their imaginations while using the resources available creatively.

Playground

The well equipped playground provides a safe outdoors environment within the school that stimulates children to use their creative energy in healthy interactions with one another. Here physical education is provided through different games , sports and exercises right for each age group.

Audio Visual Room

A multipurpose room where different activities are held like Teacher Training Programs, PTA meetings, Staff meetings, workshops,seminars,moderation lectures for SSC students.

School Lab

School lab is a great place for students which helps them to enhance their learning by understanding the theoretical concepts of science which are taught in classrooms. The well equipped laboratory not only makes science experiments fun but also help students develop skills in using scientific equipment correctly and safely , making observations , taking measurements and carrying out well-defined scientific procedures.

The Sick Bay Room

Sick bay room is the room at LAHS which is well equipped with the emergency medical first aid kit,Where our learners are given first hand medical help if required and are made comfortable. It is always under the guidance of an elder.

Computer Lab

The well designed computer lab serves as the center for teaching computers as an academic subject is used to conduct classes by a well trained computer faculty . Apart from the learners the teachers also use the computer lab to enhance their teaching process by carrying out research , or for creating technology- based projects and certain presentations for the curriculum..
