This year marks the 75th anniversary of our country’s Independence. This is an ideal moment to engage children in various activities that educate them about India’s culture and history and also about our Indian Flag and national symbols. Among the various activities carried out by the #KGSection and #PrimarySection students was Drawing and Colouring of the National Flag, Colouring of Lotus and Mango illustrations. Other activities included Tri Colour Palm Printing, creating Badges and Book Marks by the Playgroup, Jr and Sr. KG Students. The Primary students carried out activities like Soft Board and Door Decorations and making Greeting cards with the main motif being the Tri Colour. Some glimpses from the first 4 days of the celebrations. #75YearsOfIndependence #Drawing #Craft #KGSection #PrimarySection #TheAngelsEducationTrust #LittleAngelsHighSchool #ServeHumanity

Children have a natural curiosity about how the body works. Sense organs play the role of receptors for our body to understand and adjust to our environment. Since children learn best with visual aids and by doing things themselves, on Thursday, 28th July 2022 five stations were set up in the pre-primary section, each focusing on one specific sense organ. Children were all exhilarated when they heard different sounds, looked forward to taste different eatables and feel different textures. They enriched themselves by observing different displays using their different senses. They saw a variety of visual aids. Different aromas and odours pervading in the air made them aware of their sense of smell. This hands- on experience was made easier than ever because each station was packed with props and manipulatives that gave children an opportunity for concrete learning of each sense organ. Children enjoyed this fun way of learning. #FunLearning #5Senses #KGSection #TheAngelsEducationTrust #LittleAngelsHighSchool #ServeHumanity

The Batch of ‘77 had their 45th year Reunion in the school premises a few days ago. Here's how they described the experience. "The Batch of ‘77 had our 45th year Reunion and this was special as we celebrated at the school premises bringing back nostalgic memories of our childhood and primary schooling which was at the same location. In contrast the magnificent building was much appreciated by all. All of us turned Senior Citizens this year but the child in you is surfaced when you meet school mates. Our class mates Jayashree (nee Jairaman) and Sadhana (nee Mallya) came in from USA and Dubai to add the International touch to the reunion. Soulful singing and lots of chatting were the highlights. We had a tour of the Little Angels’ International School and all were impressed by the infrastructure provided at the school both conceptually and aesthetically." #Batchof1977 #Memories #TheAngelsEducationTrust #LittleAngelsHighSchool #ServeHumanity
